ZiOrt ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, your rights, and how to contact us.
1. Information We Collect
We collect (a) information you provide directly — name, email address, business name, and account details; (b) transactional and operational data you enter into ZiOrt products, such as loan records, inventory, fleet data, and financial transactions; and (c) technical data including IP address, browser type, and usage logs used exclusively for security and performance purposes.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide, maintain, and improve ZiOrt services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or business data with third parties for marketing. Aggregated, anonymised analytics may be used internally to improve product quality.
3. Data Ownership
All business data you enter into ZiOrt products — transactions, customer records, inventory, financials — belongs entirely to you. ZiOrt acts solely as a data processor. You may export or delete your data at any time from your account settings.
4. Data Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We use Supabase's enterprise infrastructure with Row Level Security (RLS) policies that enforce strict data isolation between accounts. Sensitive identifiers such as mobile numbers are hashed (SHA-256) before storage — we never store raw phone or ID numbers.
5. Data Retention
Active account data is retained for the duration of your subscription. On account deletion, your data is permanently purged within 30 days. Security and audit logs are retained for up to 12 months for fraud prevention.
6. Cookies
We use essential session cookies only — required for authentication and security. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Clearing cookies will require you to sign in again.
7. Third-Party Services
ZiOrt uses Supabase (database and auth), Vercel (hosting), and Razorpay (payments where applicable). Each operates under their own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data technically required to deliver the service.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@ziort.com. We will respond within 7 business days.
9. Policy Changes
Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of ZiOrt after changes constitutes acceptance.
